Leadership blame game

I was reading a blog that I follow and they pointed out that a good leadership team doesn't blame one member but they all take the blame when something doesn't go as planned. I think that to be a good leader you have to be able to communicate with a leadership team and that when faced with problems everyone works to work it out not just one person doing what they want or just being someone who watches as things happen around them. I think that we have become a society who looks for one leader to deliver us toward a goal but we aren't willing to step up and help. We need to show others that things will work out better if we help each other out and don't let lazyness take over. In groups people tend to follow one leader and when something goes wrong or the group gets a bad grade the leader is blamed when really everyone is at fault because no one else is willing to help. We need to learn to take the blame when we do something wrong because that is the only way to change the pattern.  Taking blame is needed so we can learn to be better and to find new solutions it what was planned didn't work the first time. The blame game is never fun but it is a teaching and learning tool.
